Difficulty level and why: Lots of steps and multiple chilling of the dough. We are still a little traumatized from the cardamom from the snickerdoodle party cookies. These do have cardamom in them, just not to the quantity of the party cookies. These are also sandwich cookies, there is that step also.
What the family thought: Parents are not a fan of cardamom. There was a lot of different tastes that turned out to be good. We may have needed a stronger flavor jam, not sure.
